Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat @ Wong Joo Hwa

Tan Sri Ong Leong Huat @ Wong Joo Hwa is the Non-Independent Non-Executive Chairman of the Company and was appointed to the Board of the Company on 18 April 2023.

Tan Sri Ong holds a Capital Markets and Services Representatives licence issued by the Securities Commission Malaysia under the Capital Markets and Services Act, 2007 for dealing in securities. Tan Sri Ong was a Director of Malaysian Exchange of Securities Dealing and Automated Quotation (MESDAQ) from July 1999 to March 2002, a member of the Capital Market Advisory Council appointed by the Securities Commission Malaysia in 2004 to advise on issues relating to the implementation of the Capital Market Master Plan. He was previously a member of the Securities Market Consultative Panel of Bursa Malaysia.

Since 1969, Tan Sri Ong was attached to a leading financial institution where he last held the position of Senior General Manager. He became the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of OSK Securities Berhad (which was later known as OSK Investment Bank Berhad) from July 1985 to January 2007 and was thereafter appointed as the Group Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of OSK Investment Bank Berhad. Tan Sri Ong was then re-designated as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of OSK Investment Bank Berhad (which was later known as OSKIB Sdn. Bhd.) on 18 January 2011, a position he held until 30 April 2013.

In 2003, Tan Sri Ong established OSK Ventures International Berhad ("the Company"), which supported and incubated a number of successful technology companies in Malaysia. He was appointed as a Non-Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company from December 2003 to April 2010 and re-appointed with the same designation from February 2013 to April 2017.

Ms. Ong Yee Min, Amelia

Ms. Ong Yee Min is the Executive Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Company. She was first appointed to the Board of the Company on 1 September 2011 as the Executive Director and was re-designated to her current position on 20 May 2022.

Ms. Ong is a graduate of Monash University, Australia, with a Bachelor of Banking & Finance and a Bachelor of Computing. She has worked in leading financial institutions in Malaysia and Hong Kong where she was involved in managing and growing the banking portfolio of local corporations and financial institutions as clients. Since joining the Company, she has been actively involved in the joint management and strategic planning of the Group.

Puan Mazidah binti Abdul Malik

Puan Mazidah binti Abdul Malik is the Senior Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company. She was first appointed to the Board of the Company on 5 December 2022 as the Independent Non-Executive Director and was re-designated to her current position on 18 April 2023.

Puan Mazidah has served Bank Negara Malaysia for more than 30 years. She has extensive experience in trading and portfolio investments in global fixed income markets, having spent 16 years at the Investment and Treasury Department of the central bank.

Puan Mazidah also served as the Representative of the Bank in New York from October 1994 to January 1998 and her stint trading for the central bank's office in London in 1992 provided her the experience in managing market, liquidity and credit risks in the US and European financial centres.

Puan Mazidah has also served in various departments in the Bank with exposures in economics, risk management, communications, international relations and technical assistance. Her career in the Bank included stints at the Labuan Offshore Financial Services Authority and the International Centre for Education in Islamic Finance.

Mr. Siew Chin Kiang @ Seow Chin Kiang

Mr. Siew Chin Kiang @ Seow Chin Kiang is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and was appointed to the Board of the Company on 18 April 2023.

Mr. Siew joined KPMG in 1986 and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant in 1990. In 1992, he was seconded to KPMG United States to gain overseas experience, and he returned in 1994. He was admitted to the partnership of KPMG Malaysia in 1998.

During his tenure with KPMG, Mr. Siew has assumed various leadership positions. He has headed an audit department, served as the human resource partner and was on the KPMG Executive Committee for 11 years. In addition, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer from 2017 until his retirement in December 2021.

Mr. Siew's professional experience includes the provision of audit and advisory services to multinational and local companies. He was part of the Financial Services line of business and has served as the engagement audit partner for numerous multinational and local banking clients. Additionally, he has provided services to clients across various industries such as retail and consumer markets, manufacturing, aerospace and technology. Mr. Siew has also led and been involved in due diligence and initial public offering exercises.

Mr. Pankajkumar A/L Bipinchandra

Mr Pankajkumar A/L Bipinchandra is an Independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and was appointed to the Board of the Company on 18 April 2023.

Mr. Pankajkumar has more than 20 years of experience in investment research, fund management, and corporate strategy. He is a member of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia (ICDM), a member of FIDE Forum, a member of Financial Times Stock Exchange (FTSE) Bursa Malaysia Industry Advisory Panel and a former member of FTSE Bursa Malaysia Index Advisory Committee.

Mr. Pankajkumar was the former Head of Research in OSK Research Sdn. Bhd. prior to joining Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad in 2005 as Chief Investment Officer. He was subsequently transferred to KSK Group Berhad in 2012 as Director, Head of Corporate Strategy & Investments where he was responsible for managing the company's investment portfolio, preparing reports for the company's investment committee and board of directors, as well as involved in developing growth strategies for the company's business.

Since leaving KSK Group Berhad in 2018, he has contributed articles on the economy, market and sectorial topics as well as on issues related to governance and ethics for the StarBiz under its Inside Insight column. He is also actively involved in providing Continuous Professional Education (CPE) classes, mainly for financial market participants as well as for industry associations and public listed organisations.
